Thursday Thirteen – Edition #3
Thirteen Things Homeschoolers Never Have to Say to Their Kids

- Where’s your report card?
- If you don’t do your homework you can’t go out
- Not on a school night
- When’s Parent/Teacher night?
- Why were you in Detention?
- What did your teacher say?
- What happened in class? (this one may be said if a child is taking extra curricular classes)
- You’re not wearing that in school!
- Here’s your lunch money
- Don’t trade your sandwich for sweets at lunch
- Clothing labels don’t matter/ you don’t need brand name to be cool
- I can’t drive you to school today
- You can’t miss another day of school
LOL! Although some of these may apply to certain situations during homeschooling, they won’t be uttered often. As homeschoolers we have the luxury of not being late to school, worry about what the teachers are or are not teaching our kids, and not having to keep up with the Brittney Spears/Justin Timberlake’s latest fashions (or lack there of).
