Our Bloggiversary
Somehow I lost track of our Bloggy Birthday… probably cuz I had nothing to remind me of it, hence the bloggiversary button over there on the left. The actual date is August 10, and this site is 1 year old now. So, if you look at it like a baby, the 1st birthday really is more for the parents than the little one. SOOO, I’m going to throw a Blog Birthday Party here anyway. SO THERE!
I”m thinking we’ll celebrate it during the month of October, since that’s MY birthday, and my oldest son’s birthday, October is going to be a party month anyway. LOL! So keep coming back, and I’ll put up more details on what’s going to happen and what you’ll be able to win.
My Son Jack
He’s a Character for sure! While I’m working on my business, taking phone calls, the boys are generally downstairs doing their school work. Guest Posting On the Peanut Butter Blog
I do love peanut butter. It’s been one of my favortie foods since I was a kid. Luckily, Peanut Butter was one of the few things that I was NOT allergic to as a child… well after I was 3 or 4 at least. So I ate a lot of peanut butter in my life. That being so, the Peanut Butter Blog is one of my favorites. She finds interesting uses for peanut butter, finds cute clothing and accessories that have something peanut buttery about it. So when she asked for volunteer Guest Posters, I jumped at the chance. So Please, visit her great Peanut Buttery Blog and see my post later tonight.
Thursday Thirteen – Edition #4
So I was looking around this great Uk Home Office Furniture Super Market, and I saw some really nice desks, chairs, and other office furniture, and it made me think about what the boys need for their school room. Ok, right now we don’t actually have a “room”, it’s more like several areas where the boys do their schoolwork and have their computer. But it got me to thinking about what it is I’d really like to have, if/when we have a dedicated room for school. So that’s what my Thursday Thirteen is about. Read the rest of this entry »
Homeschooler & Author & Giveaway
One of the things that I just love about the internet are all the amazing people you get to learn about. People that you might never get to know any other way. Well tonight is one of those times. One blogger that I just love reading her blogs, Blonde Blogger, has a review blog. Today she wrote a review about a great book, and interviewed the author of the book, Mia King. Guess what? Mia King is not only a successful author of two books, she’s also a homeschooler! And she writes homeschooling into her plots. What an amazing thing for the homeschool community.
