I’ve always loved music, I’ve been in choirs most of my childhood, and played the piano forever. Most of my family is the same way. So when my sons have shown interest in any type of musical interest, I’ve tried to do my best to get them the instrument and lessons, or at the very least find a way to teach them myself or find it online.
So my youngest, Jack, decided he wants a guitar for his birthday, which is Tuesday. I told ST about this, and it just so happens he has a guitar that was his sisters. It’s old, and needs repairs, but it’s still good enough to get it repaired. So we’ve taken it to a local guitar store and they are repairing it for him, and now I’m looking for someplace online to teach him how to play.
I’ve found a few free sources online which will give him a good foundation on the guitar and the basics on how to play. This will at least give him a good idea on whether or not he will want to continue and maybe take some real life lessons. I think Jack will really enjoy it, and plan to teach him and his brother how to play and sing a christmas song to play together on Christmas day for everyone. They should have fun doing this. Maybe i’ll video it and post it on here for all of you to see!
Whether your children are very small or teenagers, like mine, they are sure to enjoy making this treat. You can have them make if for Christmas Morning breakfast, for a potluck celebration or for a gift for grandma. It’s a cute Christmas Tree Bread and yummy too!
This is a fantastic christmas giveaway and could make an excellent christmas gift for you and someone special in your life!
