Lessons Lessons Lessons
Last time I wrote about a lesson that I was giving my boys on leadership and reports. Well it turns out that they both did quite well. Roger chose some interesting and unique names and the one we chose for him to do was on Joseph Campbell, a philosophy professor who influenced many great people. Jackson chose mostly presidents, inventors and the like, and we asked him to do his report on Benjamin Franklin. I was very pleased with both of their reports. Read the rest of this entry »
Website Review – A Child Writes
I found out about this great website on Facebook. I think it’s a great site for anyone with kids, but I can definitely see the wonderful opportunities for homeschoolers. This is not just a “pen pal” type of social networking site for kids, it’s also a charity program that kids can get involved in and win some cool prizes. Here’s what the site says:
More Socialization
I love my homeschool group. Even though we don’t get to do a whole lot with them because I have to work during the day, there’s still the teen events that the boys participate in. They love them!
