Christmas Projects For Kids

Whether your children are very small or teenagers, like mine, they are sure to enjoy making this treat.  You can have them make if for Christmas Morning breakfast, for a potluck celebration or for a gift for grandma.  It’s a cute Christmas Tree Bread and yummy too!

Summertime!

summertime Summertime!So I think it’s kinda funny that my sons are all happy that it’s Summer Vacation.  They are home all the time, they don’t have to “go to” school, but somehow “Summer” means something extra special for them.  I know that part of it is because they are watching TV and have friends and family who are in “traditional” school and everyone is talking about school being out.  But I wonder if they think that things are going to be THAT different?

Spring Break?

My sons are counting down the hours till “Spring Break”, which is going to be next week.  They are going to be spending the entire week with my mom, because they need some “pampering” and no one does that better than Grandma… and Grandma needs some strong young men to help her around the house right now too.  heh!  Roger, who “goes” to Odyssey Charter High School, has an actual spring break.  He doesn’t have “class” or course work next week, and won’t be going to P.E.   But Jack, who is using Time4Learning for his curriculum doesn’t HAVE to go on break at any particular time, or at all for that matter.  But I’m letting him not do work next week so he and his brother could do stuff together… like fight over who has control over the T.V. and computer.
