One of the things that my sons have a tendancy to NOT like about homeschooling, is the fact that they never really get a “vacation”. Although this year they have had more of a vacation from school than any other year. I.N.K. – Interesting Nonfiction for Kids is having a 15 Book Blast Give-Away! Which, of course, I’ll be entering, but I still want everyone who reads here, to enter also! There are some truely great books that are listed on this blog, and they are giving several of them away… all Nonfiction books, on all sorts of topics. So head on over there now!

Somehow I lost track of our Bloggy Birthday… probably cuz I had nothing to remind me of it, hence the bloggiversary button over there on the left.  The actual date is August 10, and this site is 1 year old now.  So, if you look at it like a baby, the 1st birthday really is more for the parents than the little one.  SOOO, I’m going to throw a Blog Birthday Party here anyway.  SO THERE!

I”m thinking we’ll celebrate it during the month of October, since that’s MY birthday, and my oldest son’s birthday, October is going to be a party month anyway.  LOL!  So keep coming back, and I’ll put up more details on what’s going to happen and what you’ll be able to win.
