Did you watch it?  Did you watch it with your children?  I watched it with Steve, but haven’t watched it with my sons yet.  I”m planning on it though.  I realize there’s been a lot of controversy over this speech to our children, which has made me glad that I’m homeschooling and the choice is totally up to me and not the school district.  However, I do think it’s important for our children to see this speech.

Our Bloggiversary

Somehow I lost track of our Bloggy Birthday… probably cuz I had nothing to remind me of it, hence the bloggiversary button over there on the left.  The actual date is August 10, and this site is 1 year old now.  So, if you look at it like a baby, the 1st birthday really is more for the parents than the little one.  SOOO, I’m going to throw a Blog Birthday Party here anyway.  SO THERE!

I”m thinking we’ll celebrate it during the month of October, since that’s MY birthday, and my oldest son’s birthday, October is going to be a party month anyway.  LOL!  So keep coming back, and I’ll put up more details on what’s going to happen and what you’ll be able to win.

Blogging For Kids

I’ve already set up blogs for my sons to write on.  We did that before the summer started.  My original hopes was that they would have someplace to write their stories, complaints and stuff on there.  Someplace that they could express themselves.  The reality is, that they haven’t really wanted to do it.  I think part of it is because no one was going on their websites…. but that was before I discovered EntreCard and other things like EntreCard.
